Cheque Helper: Amount in Words3.1 - App Store
You'll be able to see results in few seconds.
Publisher Description
Cheque Helper turns any amount into correctly written words - in English and in Chinese banker's numerals (大寫) - and puts it straight onto a printable cheque.
Built for small businesses, accountants, clerks, and anyone who writes cheques or fills in official amounts: type 1234.56 and instantly get "One Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Four Dollars and Fifty-Six Cents Only" and 壹仟貳佰叁拾肆元伍角陸分. No guessing, no mistakes, no arguments about whether 105 is 一百零五 or 一百五.
WHY IT'S TRUSTWORTHY
. A deterministic, hand-tested wording engine - not AI, not autocorrect. The same amount always produces exactly the same words.
. The printed figures and the printed words are generated from one validated source, so they can never disagree.
. A mandatory confirmation step makes you check figures against words before a cheque can be printed.
AMOUNT IN WORDS
. English wording in US style ("no and") or UK style ("One Thousand and Five Pounds")
. Chinese 大寫 in Traditional or Simplified script, with 元/圓 and 整/正 options and currency prefixes (港幣, 人民幣, ...)
. 10 currencies: HKD, USD, CNY, GBP, EUR, SGD, CAD, AUD, JPY, INR - including Indian-style figures (12,34,567.89)
. Amounts up to 999,999,999,999.99, with strict validation - never silently rounded
. Works with Siri and Shortcuts, and as an instant App Clip
CHEQUE WRITING & PRINTING
. Live cheque preview: payee, date, figures box, both wording lines, "A/C Payee Only" crossing
. Print via AirPrint on plain paper, or use Overlay Mode to print the values directly onto a real bank cheque leaf
. Overlay calibration: pick your bank, print an alignment grid onto a void leaf, and nudge the position in half-millimetre steps
. Cheque templates in classic Hong Kong and modern minimal styles
HISTORY & PRIVACY
. Recent conversions saved on device - or use Private Mode to save nothing
. Your amounts, payees, and cheques never leave your device. No account. No analytics of your financial data.
